Join us for STORY TIME ADVENTURES WITH BEARS on October 1st from 10-11 a.m. at the Wyocena Public Library. Bring along your favorite bear or other special stuffed animal to enjoy stories, games, crafts and snacks! Stories and crafts aimed at ages 3-6, but you're never to young (or old!) for a story.


Saturday, September 24th at 10-11 a.m. author and historian Michael Eckers presents "World War II: The Home Front." Michael Eckers is the author of several books on American military history. He presents interactive talks combining nation-wide perspective with local flavor ( The presentation will be held in the library (165 E. Dodge St). Light refreshments will be served.

Tuesday, August 9th, 11am-6pm Brat and Hot Dog Fundraiser at Wyocena Public Library (165 E. Dodge St.). All proceeds go to the Friends of the Wyocena Public Library--support your local library!

Saturday, August 6th, 10-11 a.m., all ages are welcome to join us outside on the lawn in front of the library for FREE snacks, activities, and prize give-a-ways. The 5 Grand prize baskets for the summer reading program will be drawn for and EXTRA PRIZES will be given away. Check out our new Little Free Libary and the regular llbrary is open Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm. Event will be held inside if the weather is bad.

Thursday, July 28th, 3-6 p.m. Join us at the back tables in the library for free snacks! Pick out a bookmark or coloring page to color, play a board or card game, or just relax in the air conditioning. Program is open to all ages, but parents are asked to stay with younger children. The library will also be open during this time so pick up some new movies and books for the weekend!

Saturday, July 16th 11 a.m.-Noon join us in the Wyocena Community Center Gym (located in the same building as the library at 165 E. Dodge) for a fun and interactive Zumba dance fitness class for all ages! Refreshments will be provided. Please register at the library (call in, stop by in person) so we know how many people and what ages (of children) to expect.

The Friends of the Wyocena Public Library's new Little Free Library is open and ready for business! Just stop by, take a book or two, and leave a book for someone else to enjoy.

All books are donated--please do not return library books to the Little Free Library.
